Far East SAS Scandinavian Airlines System Original Travel Vintage Poster by Otto Nielsen from 1962 Denmark. This is a fabulous SAS poster captures beautiful artwork by Danish painter, Otto Nielsen. Nielsen created a series of Posters I Illustrations for S.A.S. the Scandanavian Airlines System spanning the 1940s to the early 1970s. This poster served as an ad for travels to The Far East and it depicts a two colorful cranes. You'll see a a consistent theme of portraying the animals as the destination in much of his work. He really appreciated the majestic creatures and their importance, but for commercial purposes, but also as an hommage to their beauty in untouched nature.
