The Electric St Gotthard Line

This wonderful Swiss Travel and Rail poster is a great example of a serene Art Deco Swiss lake and mountain view illustration promoting train travel through the mountain passes and tunnels via the ST. Gotthard Electric Railway Line. It was designed by the unparralled Otto Baumberger. Vacationers and Sightseers could more easily access lovely lake and mountain towns via the rail tunnel under the Swiss Alps, while also being able to connect easily to the rest of Europe on main lines.
